Leanne has been on staff at Hephzibah Baptist Church for nine years.  She is the Children's Ministry Assistant and Weekday Preschool Director.  Leanne is a graduate of Catawba College ( BA '89).  Her husband Larry is on staff at HBC and is pursuing his Masters of Divinity at Southeastern Seminary.  They have a heart for sports evangelism, and for ministering together as a family with their children.  Leanne enjoys gardening, cooking, sports and trips to the beach. Larry and Leanne reside in Wendell with their three great kids Corrie, Jamie and Trey. 

Lannie has been a preschool teacher for over 20 years and has been on staff at Hephzibah Preschool for the last four.  She has been sought after to lead workshops around North Carolina and was awarded Teacher of the Year for the North Carolina Weekday Early Education  Association in 1998.  Lannie is a graduate of Carson Newman College with a degree in Music Education. She is an avid collector of anything preschool from books to butterflies, and cookie cutters to tuna cans. Lannie and her husband Sam reside in Raleigh with their unique daughter Lindsay (and all of the preschool stuff).

Sylvia has been on staff at Hephzibah Preschool for nine years. She is originally from Johnston County.   Sylvia has a passion for nurturing children and enjoys going to the beach and watching movies.  She has taught Sunday School at HBC for many years.  Sylvia and her wonderful husband Phil reside in Wendell.

Melissa served on staff as the director of Hephzibah Preschool from 2000-2005, and returned in 2008 as a teacher.  She is an eastern wake local and graduated from East Wake High School and Wake Tech with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  Melissa enjoys reading, photography and crochet.  She has a heart for children of all ages and serves as a youth Sunday School teacher,  and is a coordinator of the Hephzibah Belarussian Ministry.  Melissa and her husband Robert reside in Wendell with their three loving children Elizabeth, Emily and Ethan.

Melanie Wallace, Substitute Teacher

Melanie is in her second year of service at Hephzibah Preschool.  She is originally from Mount Airy, NC, and attended UNC and USF-Tampa.  Melanie has a heart for serving "behind the scenes" and has served in the youth and preschool departments as a Sunday School teacher.  She enjoys reading and music and uses this to glorify God in the HBC Praise Band.  Melanie and her husband Aaron reside in Wendell with their two beautiful daughters Sydney and Macy.  Aaron serves on staff at HBC as the Associate Pastor and Education Pastor.
